A Southern Gentleman's Take On World Cuisine
A Southern gentleman travels though the world of culinary. Food is my passion what I love to do even as a young child I had a love for food thanks to my paternal grandmother my inspiration and my instroduction into the world of culinary. She was a cook in our home town's school system and the greatest Chef, in my eyes that I will ever know.
I know through this journey there will be many personal sacrifices and trials. Time with my family and friends
So I make this promise to my grandmother that I will aways continue to be the gentleman you raised me to be we will make it through this journey of world cuisine with a twist of southern hospitality. with a twist of southern hospitality.
Grandma I will make you proud you remain my inspiration and I will take all you have given me and accomplish great things. From the little boy under grandma's table.

Bio
A little about me I was born in a small town in Mississippi. Not being afforded opportunity to grow up with my mother I was raised by my paternal grandparents. Who raised me from the time I was 3 years old. I guess you could say that I clung to my grandmother. It seem that a lot of my childhood memories are of following her around the kitchen. Perfectly match she love to cook and I loved to eat. Food has always been a passion of mine in one form or another. Even though I was not as much as into cooking as I was into eating I love to see the love enjoyment in grandma’s face as she cooked. I spent so much time in the kitchen with grandma she decided she was going to teach me how to cook. She would always say since you are watching and I wasn’t going find a girl my age that could cook she was going to show me a few things so I can feed myself. This was where I fell in love with cooking and the joy of creating great tasting food that bring joy to others. Thank grandma I will make you proud.

Once I became old enough I joined the Mississippi National Guard ,and then after high school I transferred to the United States Navy. Military was my way of seeing the world and trying different foods. Even though food wasn't my first love it has always been a close second. After a medical discharge In November of 1991 I had a couple jobs in fast food restaurants and a job in a BBQ restaurant. I’ve been At East castle place , a senior living community on Milwaukee's eastside since 02 / 22 / 2001. I am currently enrolled at the Art Institute of Wisconsin.
